Refund Policy
At NMD Utility Labs, we strive to provide high-quality professional utilities. Because our software is provided as a "try-before-you-buy" digital product, our refund policy is governed by the following terms:
Evaluation Agreement: By placing an order, you acknowledge that you have used the FREE version of No More Duplicates and have found it suitable for your needs. The free version is provided specifically so users can evaluate the scanning engine, interface, and compatibility before financial commitment.
1. Eligibility for Refund
Refunds are only issued under the following specific circumstances:
- Unresolved Technical Bugs: If our support team confirms a functional bug that prevents the core operation of the software, we reserve the right to resolve the issue within 30 working days. If the issue remains unresolved after this period, a full refund will be issued.
- Double Orders: Inadvertent duplicate purchases of the same product version will be refunded in full.
- Activation Failure: If a license key fails to activate the software and our support team cannot provide a working alternative.
2. Non-Refundable Scenarios
We do not offer refunds for the following:
- "Change of mind" or "Mistaken" purchases.
- Claims that a feature works differently than expected (all features are documented and available for testing in the free version).
- Compatibility issues with operating systems not listed on our product page (e.g., Mac, Linux, or Unofficial Windows Beta/Insider builds).
- Issues caused by third-party software, such as Antivirus or Firewalls blocking the application's local file access.
- Margin of error: All duplicate detection algorithms operate within a technical margin of error. Minor discrepancies in "Similar Photo" detection do not constitute a bug.
3. How to Request a Refund
Requests must be sent to support@nomoreduplicates.com within 14 days of purchase. Please include your Order ID and a detailed description of the technical issue, including screenshots of any error messages.
